About the Role

In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to “float” between multiple units, providing exceptional patient care across diverse medical-surgical settings. Key Responsibilities

✔️ Serve as a patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality.
✔️ Conduct nursing assessments and diagnoses to facilitate high-quality patient care.
✔️ Develop and implement individualized care plans with a commitment to continuous improvement.
✔️ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
✔️ Adapt quickly to various units and patient needs while maintaining clinical excellence.
✔️ Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments.
✔️ Manage a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

🔹 Active RN License (Florida license required; compact licensure accepted – must apply for FL license).
🔹 Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing Required.
🔹 1+ Year of Recent (Within Last 2 Years) Med-Surg Acute Care RN Experience Required.
🔹 Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
🔹 Must live within a 60-minute commute of the facility.
🔹 Flexibility to float between multiple units and adapt to varying patient care needs.

Shift Details & Differentials

🔹 Available Shift: Nights (7:00p–7:00a, rotating weekends).
🔹 Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.
🔹 Shift Differentials:

• Nights: $4.25/hour.
• Weekends: $3.00/hour.
