Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Huntington, WV 25701

Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week Renewable Contract

Salary: $1,987-$2,318/week

We are seeking an experienced RN to provide high-quality care on our Medical Surgical unit during the night shift.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the Medical Surgical unit.
Perform thorough assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions based on individual patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient information and progress.
Follow infection control protocols and contribute to maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Requirements:

Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of West Virginia (or eligible to obtain).
Previous experience in Medical Surgical nursing is required.
Current COVID-19 vaccination or eligibility for a medical/religious exemption as per facility guidelines.
Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
