RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator
Location: Kansas City, MO
Salary: $35.65–$47.64/hr (based on experience)
Shift: Full-Time Nights | Rotating Weekends
Shift Differential: +$4.00/hr for Nights & Weekends
Sign-On Bonus & Relocation: Available case-by-case
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) to join multiple units, including Med-Surg, Med-Surg Ortho/Trauma, NICU, and Inpatient Oncology.
As a CNC, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting unit operations and staff collaboration during your assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to maintain effective patient flow.
Monitor the quality of care and collaborate with leadership to improve clinical outcomes.
Provide charge nurse leadership, fostering teamwork and supporting staff through coaching and guidance.
Assist with staff scheduling, labor management, and daily assignment oversight.
Support inventory and supply management for unit readiness.
Participate in staff development, training, and performance feedback.
Qualifications
2+ years of acute care clinical experience, including leadership or charge responsibilities.
BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
Education: RN Diploma or ADN required; BSN preferred.
Active RN license in the state of Missouri or Multistate Compact RN license.
