Compensation: $27.72 – $39.60 per hour based on experience
Night Differential: +$4.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 Days | $15,000 Nights
Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts | Days or Nights | Rotating Weekends

Overview
A regional acute care hospital serving the Panama City Gulf Coast region is expanding its nursing staff across several inpatient and emergency departments.
This opportunity allows Registered Nurses to be considered for multiple units through a single application based on clinical experience, certifications, and shift availability.
Current hiring needs include Emergency Services, Progressive Care, and inpatient Medical-Surgical nursing teams.
Units Currently Hiring
Emergency Room (ER)
44-bed emergency department treating adult and pediatric patients across multiple acuity levels.
Preferred experience:
Recent ER nursing experience within the past year
ICU or PCU nurses may be considered
Required certifications during onboarding:
ACLS
PALS
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention
Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)
Community-based emergency care setting requiring experienced ER nurses.
Preferred experience:
3+ years ER RN experience
Recent emergency department background required
Progressive Care Unit (PCU / IMCU)
Stepdown environment providing cardiac monitoring and advanced medical-surgical care.
Typical ratios:
4:1 target
5:1 maximum
Candidates may include:
PCU nurses
ER nurses transitioning to stepdown
Experienced acute care med-surg nurses
Cardiac Medical-Surgical Unit
Cardiac and vascular patient population with monitored beds.
Typical ratio: 6 patients per nurse
Medical-Surgical Unit
General inpatient floor caring for diverse medical and post-surgical patients.
Typical ratio: 6:1
Responsibilities
Registered Nurses in these roles will:
Perform patient assessments and monitor clinical changes
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Document patient care within the electronic medical record
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license
Graduate of an accredited ASN, RN Diploma, or BSN program
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Recent acute care hospital nursing experience
Additional certifications may be required depending on department.
