Central Lab Histology Manager – Up to $110K + $15K Sign-On Bonus
Location: Irving, TX
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (Shift Varies)
Salary Range: Up to $110,000/year (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview
Join a high-performing central laboratory serving a large regional healthcare network. We are seeking an experienced Histology Manager to lead day-to-day lab operations, drive quality initiatives, and collaborate with leadership in a fast-paced and progressive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee histology operations including staffing, workflow management, quality control, and regulatory compliance
Manage training, performance evaluation, and competency programs for histology personnel
Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, JCAHO, CMS, and other regulatory bodies
Partner with Medical and Division Directors to achieve operational and quality goals
Manage departmental budgeting, supply utilization, and project coordination
Represent the lab in cross-functional meetings and maintain strong communication with stakeholders
Implement continuous process improvements to support lab excellence

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Histotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Sciences, Biology, or Chemistry
National certification as a Histotechnologist or Medical Technologist
3–5 years of histology leadership experience in a hospital or central lab setting
Proven ability to lead teams across multiple sites and manage complex operations
Willingness to travel within the region as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a related field
Experience launching or managing operations in a central lab environment
