Join Our Team as Director of MLS Program

We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to direct and oversee our Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) and Phlebotomy programs at a top healthcare facility in Alexandria, LA. This role focuses on education, accreditation, and program administration, ensuring excellence in laboratory science training.

What You’ll Do

Organize, administer, and evaluate MLS and Phlebotomy education programs
Develop and implement curriculum to meet NAACLS accreditation standards
Teach, mentor, and guide students through lectures and clinical training
Collaborate with faculty and lab staff to deliver high-quality education
Manage program budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation

What We’re Looking For

Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree required. Bachelor’s in Clinical Lab Science, Medical Technology, or a related field
Certifications: ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. Louisiana Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required
Experience: Minimum of three years of teaching experience, with knowledge of NAACLS accreditation preferred
Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities
