Compensation:

  • Base Salary Range: $40.79 – $61.19/hour (heavily based on years of experience)

  • Estimated Annual Salary: $84,843 – $127,275 (plus incentives)

  • Sign-On Bonus: Case by case

  • Relocation Assistance: Case by case


Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager of Critical Care (Medical ICU) to oversee a 16-bed adult medical ICU. The Nurse Manager will supervise approximately 45 FTEs, reporting to the Director of Critical Care. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader with a strong ICU background, proven critical care management experience, and a focus on patient-centered quality care and regulatory excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily operations of the Medical ICU, ensuring safe and effective patient care

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance quality outcomes and compliance

  • Develop and implement policies to improve efficiency, safety, and patient experience

  • Lead, coach, and engage staff while managing labor resources and scheduling

  • Participate in budgeting, cost management, and departmental performance oversight


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of recent (within last year) leadership experience in Critical Care/ICU

  • Current RN license in Texas or Compact state license

  • BLS and ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) required

  • CCRN and/or CNRN preferred

  • Strong knowledge of patient experience strategies, quality measures, and regulatory standards
