🏥 Join Our Advanced NICU Team:
We are seeking a Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team at a 289-bed medical facility, renowned for its comprehensive emergency, critical care, and women’s and children’s services, including the only Level III NICU in northern Broward County. This position offers an opportunity to provide critical respiratory care and education in a high-tech, fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

🌬️ Administer therapeutic gases and aerosol medications to neonates as prescribed.
🩺 Conduct routine and intensive respiratory therapy and diagnostic procedures.
📈 Measure ventilator volumes, pressures, and perform blood gas analysis.
🚨 Respond to emergency situations and participate in emergency team calls.
🎓 Educate patients and family members about respiratory care and support programs.
🔍 Ensure proper operation, cleaning, sterilizing, and storage of respiratory therapy equipment.

Qualifications:

🎓 Active Florida RRT License required.
🏥 Minimum 1 year of Level 3 NICU experience in acute care settings.
💖 BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are mandatory.
🤓 Ability to work independently with critical thinking skills and minimal supervision.
