Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,009-$2,344/week

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit. This position offers a 13-week renewable contract on the night shift, providing an opportunity to make a positive impact on patient care. Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
Administer medications, including continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation.
Perform and interpret pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring.
Care for ventilated patients and manage ventilators effectively.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using the Pyxis medication system and the Cerner documentation system.
Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe patient environment.
Float to other units as needed based on the facility's requirements.

Requirements:

Valid RN license in the state of Washington.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and PALS certifications.
Proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing related treatments.
Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring.
Strong ventilator management skills.
Familiarity with the Pyxis medication system for medication administration.
Experience with the Cerner documentation system.
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
