Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Baltimore, MD 21201

Shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) or (07:00 - 19:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,117-$2,470/week

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Emergency Room team. As an ER Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in emergency situations. Your ability to assess, triage, and provide timely interventions will contribute to positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assess and prioritize patients based on the severity of their conditions, applying triage protocols as necessary.
Provide direct patient care, including performing diagnostic tests, administering medications, and providing treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and overall progress, making appropriate adjustments to interventions as needed.
Assist in emergency medical procedures, including resuscitation, wound management, and stabilization of critically ill patients.
Document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and emotional support.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an academic setting Emergency Room.
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
Flexibility to float within the organization as needed.
Availability to work weekend and holiday shifts.
Strong critical thinking, assessment, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
