💵 Salary: $29.30 - $43/hr
💸 Shift Differentials: $3/evening, $2.50/weekend

Role and Responsibilities:

🔬 Conduct specimen processing, microbiology, serology, and infectious disease testing including moderate and high complexity tests.
🧪 Ensure all laboratory operations comply with departmental policies, and accrediting agency requirements.
📊 Manage and perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
🧬 Actively participate in quality control and assurance processes to maintain high laboratory standards.
📝 Document all procedures and results accurately and within required timeframes.
🤝 Serve as a resource to peers and contribute positively to team efforts.

Qualifications:

🎓 Associate's Degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Biology, or Chemistry required; Bachelor’s preferred.
🆔 National Certification as a Microbiology Technologist required.
🌐 State license where required.
📚 Strong knowledge of microbiology, serology, and related testing methodologies.
🗣 Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
🤔 Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Shifts Available:

🕒 Full-time • Evening Shifts (3p-11:30p or 2p-10:30p) with rotating weekends.
💸 Shift Differentials: $3/evening, $2.50/weekend

Additional Information:

🎯 Must have at least 1 year of direct microbiology experience and be proficient in plate reading.
🎟 Must hold ASCP or AMT certification and be registered as a Medical Technologist.
