Salary: $90,000-$108,000/year based on experience
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager - Critical Care RN to join our dedicated team in Palatka, FL. As the Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care within the critical care unit. Responsibilities:
- Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Support efforts to reduce variation in clinical practice and improve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Manage admissions and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Facilitate effective interdisciplinary care coordination within and across departments.
- Monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care to meet patient and family needs.
- Inspire commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values.
- Lead employee engagement practices to create a positive work environment.
- Manage staff scheduling and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Monitor and manage operating expenses, including supplies and equipment utilization.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Registered Nurse Diploma (Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred).
- 3-5+ years of experience in a Critical Care arena.
- Florida RN licensure is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in a charge/supervisor/assistant nurse manager role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Must have a few years of acute hospital nursing experience (ICU, PCU, Tele type backgrounds) with at least some Charge/Supervisor/Assistant Nurse Manager experience.
