Location: Glens Falls, NY 12801

Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00) OR (10:30 - 23:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,117-$2,470/week

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our Radiology/Cardiology team in Glens Falls, NY. As a CT Tech, you will play a crucial role in performing high-quality CT scans and providing accurate diagnostic images to aid in patient care.

Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans using specialized equipment and techniques to obtain diagnostic images.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and proper immobilization if necessary.
Administer contrast media as required and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions or abnormalities.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess images and provide accurate and timely reports.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
Document patient information, procedures, and results accurately in electronic medical records.
Provide patient education and support, addressing their concerns and ensuring their understanding of the procedure.
Maintain a professional and compassionate approach in all patient interactions.

Requirements:

Valid certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
Active New York State license as a Radiologic Technologist.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
Proficiency in operating CT equipment and performing a variety of CT scans.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required.
