Cath Lab Technologist – $25,000 Sign-On Bonus

Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | Weekend & Holiday Call | Anchorage, AK

Pay Details:

Starting Rate: From $38.48/hour + 2% increase per year of experience.
Evening Shift Differential: 7% of base pay.
Night Shift Differential: 10% of base pay.
Weekend Shift Differential: $2.00/hour.
On-Call Pay: $4.50/hour (average 8–9 shifts per month).
Call Back Pay: 2-hour minimum at time-and-a-half.
Sign-On Bonus: $25,000.
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis.
Certification Pay: Add $1.00/hour with approved certifications beyond requirements.

Job Summary:

As a Cath Lab Technologist , you’ll play a vital role in assisting with invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device therapies, ablations, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostics, endovascular procedures, and structural heart procedures (TAVR, LAAC) .
Manage all aspects of patient care, including transport, site preparation, sterile procedures, monitoring, hemostasis post-procedure, and emergent cases.
Maintain accurate and compliant patient records, ensuring timely documentation for physician interpretation.
Facilitate effective communication among staff using SBAR protocols for seamless hand-off communication.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications:

ARRT certification or RCIS certification preferred (open to reviewing CVOR/CST with strong vascular/IR experience).
BLS and ACLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association (ACLS within six months of hire).
4+ years of Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology (IR) experience strongly preferred .
Experience scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating required.
Ability to work under pressure, stay organized, and adapt to changing situations.
