Schedule: Night and Evening Shifts (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Incentives

Less than 1 year: $27.42/hour
2-3 years: $29.89/hour
4-5 years: $31.12/hour
6-7 years: $32.36/hour
9-10+ years: $33.59/hour
16+ years: $36.95/hour

Shift Differentials:

Nights: $3.25/hour
Weekends: $2.00/hour

Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 (available for both evening and night shifts)
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Gainesville. This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art acute care facility, providing high-quality respiratory care alongside a dedicated medical team.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage routine and advanced respiratory care therapies and equipment
Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
Assess patient responses, side effects, and medication dosages used in respiratory care
Collaborate effectively with physicians, patients, and multidisciplinary teams
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and equipment usage

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum one year of Respiratory Therapy experience (acute care preferred: ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or Critical Care units). Home care or long-term care experience will be considered.
Licensure: Active Florida State Respiratory License
Certifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through NBRC
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) – Required upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required within 30 days of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Required within 30 days of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required within 30 days of hire
