Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Emergency Room
Location: Hermitage, TN
Pay Range: $34.24 – $45.75 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Rotating Weekends
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (for candidates relocating more than 50 miles)

Position Overview

Join our Emergency Room team at a Level III Trauma Center that serves up to 166 patients daily. We are looking for an experienced Emergency Room nurse ready to grow into a leadership role. As Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will help lead a skilled and compassionate team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee all unit functions during assigned shifts
Monitor, assess, and document patient condition changes
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, evaluate, and adjust care plans
Delegate nursing tasks appropriately while maintaining overall accountability for patient care
Educate patients, families, and caregivers throughout the care process
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards

Trauma Level: III
Unit Size: 22 beds
Daily Patient Volume: Up to 166

Qualifications

Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)

Licensure:

Active RN license in Tennessee or Compact State

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Within 1 year of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Within 1 year of hire
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) – Within 6 months of hire

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Nurse
Minimum of 2–3 years in Emergency Room nursing (required for day shift)
Prior Charge Nurse experience (required for day shift)
Trauma experience preferred
