Manager/Supervisor

Manager – Labor and Delivery RN (Day Shift)
Location: Corpus Christi, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | On-Call Rotation Every 3rd Week
Compensation: $36.43 – $51.00/hour (based on experience)
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN Manager to join our leadership team in overseeing a busy, high-acuity L&D unit on the Texas Gulf Coast. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nurse leader who is passionate about advancing maternal-child health and fostering a culture of safety and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations for a 19-bed Labor unit, 5-bed OBED, and 3 dedicated surgical suites
Lead and support a team of up to 80 full-time employees (FTEs)
Ensure safe, high-quality care through staffing oversight, coaching, and patient flow management
Support the postpartum and antepartum units during on-call weeks
Partner with the Director to implement performance improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance
Monitor quality indicators, clinical outcomes, and departmental efficiency

Qualifications:

1+ year of recent acute care leadership experience in a Labor & Delivery setting required
Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
BSN preferred
Active Texas RN license or compact RN license with TX endorsement (within 60 days)
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
