Job Summary
Our Orthopedic-Medical/Surgical unit, situated on the 7th floor, boasts 47 beds and serves a diverse patient population. Our focus includes orthopedic and medical/surgical patients, with a special emphasis on total joint replacement surgeries, fractures, osteomyelitis, and minor trauma. Collaborating with renowned orthopedic surgeons specializing in hip, knee, ankle, and shoulder procedures, we prioritize patient mobility and independence. Our medical/surgical cases range from minor to complex, encompassing cardiac, respiratory, gastroenterology, renal, neuro, endocrine, behavioral health, infectious disease, and general surgery. We pride ourselves on coordinated care and evidence-based practice for optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Education: Current RN license from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Certification: Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience as an RN in an Acute Care setting required.

- Additional Information: Seeking 1 year of LTAC/surgery center/clinic experience (emphasis on assessment and IV skills), orthopedic experience is a plus, 60% orthopedic and 40% M/S general overflow, 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, 47 beds, day and night shifts available (7-7) with rotating weekends. Personality and culture fit are vital!
Compensation: $25 (2 years experience) - $27 (5 years) - $30 (10 years) - $36 MAX (20 years)
