Job Title: CVOR Technician - Surgical Services

Location: Jacksonville, FL 32209

Shift: 4x10-Hour (06:15 - 17:15)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,016-$2,352/week

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CVOR Technician to join our Surgical Services team. As a CVOR Technician, you will play a crucial role in the operating room by assisting surgeons and other healthcare professionals during cardiovascular surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room, ensuring all surgical equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use, and providing direct support to the surgical team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Sterilize and set up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and other sterile supplies during procedures.
Monitor and maintain a sterile field during surgery.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure all necessary supplies are available.
Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, including ensuring proper functioning and readiness for use.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe operating room environment.
Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
Document and maintain accurate records of procedures, supplies used, and patient care activities.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CVOR Technician
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond quickly and efficiently.
Certification as a CVOR Technician is preferred.
COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
