Job Description

A leading healthcare facility in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a qualified Echo Technologist to join its high-performing team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound imaging and assist physicians during Transesophageal Echo (TEE) procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a patient-focused environment that emphasizes excellence in cardiac care.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic echocardiography using M-mode, 2D imaging, and color flow Doppler
Follow imaging protocols as recommended by IACEL
Assist physicians during Transesophageal Echo (TEE) procedures
Organize and prioritize patient flow to maintain efficiency
Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of imaging results
Maintain equipment and adhere to all safety protocols
Provide compassionate, professional patient care
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize care outcomes

Qualifications

Education: Associate Degree or Certificate in Echocardiography
Certifications: RCS (CCI) or RDCS (ARDMS) required; BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
Experience: Certification required; experience in echocardiography preferred
