What You’ll Do: Responsibilities

Oversee 24/7 operations of a 37-bed Cardiac Stepdown unit, ensuring high-quality, goal-directed nursing care

Drive patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and physician collaboration
Manage budgets, staff selection, and unit performance metrics
Implement evidence-based practices and infection prevention standards
Report to the Director of PCU and lead a team of charge nurses and staff
What We’re Looking For:

Education: BSN required; MSN or Master’s in a related field preferred

Experience: 2+ years of recent Acute Care Critical Care leadership experience (progressive leadership preferred)
Licenses/Certifications:
- Texas RN license or compact license
- BLS/ACLS required
- National Specialty Certification (or plan to achieve within 1 year)
Preferred: Experience in Magnet or Pathways facilities
