Overview

Step into a dynamic leadership role where your expertise in Labor and Delivery will truly shine. We are seeking an energetic and passionate RN Manager of Labor and Delivery to lead a growing program in Davie, FL. This role oversees a dedicated team of 27 FTEs, supporting up to 1,500 births annually, plus a 20-bed postpartum unit and newborn nursery. Responsibilities

Lead, organize, and evaluate daily operations for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery.
Drive compliance with state, Joint Commission, CMS, and AHCA standards.
Manage staffing, scheduling, budgets, and departmental performance.
Partner with physicians, administration, and staff to ensure quality outcomes.
Mentor and develop nurses while promoting a culture of teamwork and service excellence.
Champion patient experience, safety, and innovation in maternal-child care.

Qualifications

Required:

Active Florida RN license or Compact license.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Current BLS (within 30 days of hire).
Current ACLS (within 30 days of hire).
Current NRP (within 90 days of hire).
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery management experience.

Preferred:

BSN or higher in Nursing.
STABLE certification (within 60 months).
Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (within 60 months).
