Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Gainesville, FL 32614

Shift: Full-Time, Nights Only, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Salary: $56,160-$74,880/year based on experience

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, FL. As an ER RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This is a night shift position with no call and rotating weekends. Responsibilities:

Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in an emergency room setting.
Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans.
Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs and providing general nursing care.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare departments to ensure coordinated and patient-focused care.
Provide follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals.
Always maintain a patient-focused and safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or eligible for licensure.
Associate degree in nursing or Registered Nurse Diploma.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN in an acute care environment preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to employment start date.
NIH Stroke Scale certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification to be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required within 1 year.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal laws or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
