Shift: Full-Time, Nights Only, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Salary: $56,160-$74,880/year based on experience
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, FL. As an ER RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment. This is a night shift position with no call and rotating weekends. - Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages in an emergency room setting.
- Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans.
- Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs and providing general nursing care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare departments to ensure coordinated and patient-focused care.
- Provide follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals.
- Always maintain a patient-focused and safety-conscious approach.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or eligible for licensure.
- Associate degree in nursing or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an RN in an acute care environment preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to employment start date.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification to be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required within 1 year.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal laws or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
