Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry - Days & Night - San Antonio, TX

Location: San Antonio, TX
Position Type: Full-Time (Days & Nights with rotating weekends)
Shifts: 7a - 7p (Days) and 7p - 7a (Nights)
Salary Range: $28.44/hr to $44.10/hr (based on experience)
Differentials: Night ($4.00) and Weekend ($3.00)
Sign-On Bonus: Available (case by case)
Relocation Assistance: Available (case by case, pending HR approval)

The hospital is licensed for 382 beds and is nationally recognized for its safety and quality care. The facility is renowned for its kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant programs, setting record numbers for volume and outcomes. It is home to the Texas Transplant Institute, a center recognized for performing a groundbreaking 16-way kidney donor exchange chain.

Position Overview Duties and Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry unit is an advocate for the patient and their family. The RN consistently applies the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care. The RN collaborates with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and effectively communicates with the team, demonstrating professionalism, confidence, and active engagement in unit activities.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree nursing program. BSN or certification in the specialty area is preferred.
Current RN License in Texas or an Active Multi-State RN Compact License (Must obtain Texas RN License within 90 days if holding a Compact License).
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Recent experience in Telemetry in an acute care setting is required.
