Duties and Responsibilities:

🧠 Provide excellent care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
🏥 Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry data.
🔬 Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans and treatments.
💉 Administer medications and perform basic EKG testing.
🌟 Contribute to the Certified Stroke Center and Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
🤝 Offer support and education to patients and their families.
🚑 Practice a wide range of nursing skills beyond neurology.
🏆 Uphold high standards of patient care and professionalism.
🗓️ Work every other weekend and holiday, 36 hours per week guaranteed.
💼 Opportunities for extended contracts and additional hours.

Requirements:

🧠 Neurology experience
🚑 BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
💉 Successful completion of basic EKG testing
🏥 Active Maryland or Compact License at time of submission
🤝 2 years of experience
🔬 References required
🌐 Locals accepted at the same rate
🚁 Flexibility to float within the facility as needed
📚 Continuous learning and certification updates
