Responsibilities: As a Medical Surgical (MS) RN , you would typically:

Provide nursing care for medical and surgical patients, managing a variety of conditions and treatments within a hospital setting.
Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and assist physicians in medical procedures, ensuring patients' comfort and safety.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and post-discharge care, promoting health and well-being.
Maintain accurate patient records, document interventions and outcomes, and report any changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team.
Adapt to the dynamic healthcare environment, responding effectively to emergencies and providing compassionate, high-quality care to all patients.

Requirements:

License: Active WV or Compact RN license required at the time of submission (No pending or temporary licenses accepted).
Experience: Previous experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Shift Flexibility: Ability to work 4x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00).
Orientation: 16 hours of non-billable orientation provided.
