Location: Gainesville, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Night Shifts (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Incentives

2 Years of Experience: $30.69/hr
5 Years of Experience: $33.71/hr
17+ Years of Experience: $43.20/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

Join a fast-paced Observation/Med-Surg Unit where no two shifts are the same. This high-acuity unit frequently serves patients presenting with chest pain and other urgent needs, making it an excellent environment for experienced RNs who thrive in dynamic, team-oriented settings with rapid patient turnover.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop effective care plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize care outcomes
Manage frequent discharges and admissions within the same shift
Accurately document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience in Observation, Med-Surg, or Emergency Room settings (within the past 4 years)
Licensure:
- Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain FL license within 90 days of hire)
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or RN Diploma
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required within 30 days of employment

Additional Information

Patient Population: High volume of patients with chest pain and rapid turnover
Preferred Background: Previous Observation Unit or Emergency Room nursing experience
Unit Focus: Acute care needs with high-efficiency discharge and admission processes
