Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist - General

Location: Atlanta, GA 30303

Shift: 5x8-Hour (10:00 - 18:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $1,896-$2,212/week

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology/Cardiology team in Atlanta, GA. As an Ultrasound Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound scans for both outpatient and inpatient settings, including the ER.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound scans using specialized equipment and techniques to obtain diagnostic images.
  • Conduct a variety of ultrasound procedures, including general, abdomen, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, and small parts.
  • Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure accurate and consistent results.
  • Utilize PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) to store, retrieve, and analyze images.
  • Operate portable ultrasound equipment as needed for bedside or mobile imaging.
  • Maintain proper documentation of procedures, patient information, and results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess images and provide accurate and timely reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide patient education and support, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort during the procedure.

Requirements:

  • Preferred certifications: ARRT-Sono, RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, RDMS-BR.
  • Valid state license as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist (does not accept first-time travelers).
  • Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures and examinations.
  • Familiarity with PACS and other imaging software systems.
  • Excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
