Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist - General

Location: Atlanta, GA 30303

Shift: 5x8-Hour (10:00 - 18:00)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $1,896-$2,212/week

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our Radiology/Cardiology team in Atlanta, GA. As an Ultrasound Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound scans for both outpatient and inpatient settings, including the ER.

Responsibilities:

Perform ultrasound scans using specialized equipment and techniques to obtain diagnostic images.
Conduct a variety of ultrasound procedures, including general, abdomen, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, and small parts.
Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure accurate and consistent results.
Utilize PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) to store, retrieve, and analyze images.
Operate portable ultrasound equipment as needed for bedside or mobile imaging.
Maintain proper documentation of procedures, patient information, and results.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assess images and provide accurate and timely reports.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Provide patient education and support, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort during the procedure.

Requirements:

Preferred certifications: ARRT-Sono, RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB, RDMS-BR.
Valid state license as an Ultrasound Technologist.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist (does not accept first-time travelers).
Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures and examinations.
Familiarity with PACS and other imaging software systems.
Excellent technical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
