Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) - Surgical Services

Location: North Providence, RI 02904

Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $1,776-$2,072/week

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) to join our Surgical Services team. As a CST, you will play a crucial role in assisting the surgical team and ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room. Responsibilities:

Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures and provide sterile instruments and supplies as requested.
Assist surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.
Ensure that all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and in good working condition.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the accuracy of surgical counts.
Document and maintain accurate records of surgical procedures.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
Assist with patient positioning and transportation.
Maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

Certification as a Certified OR Tech or Surgical Tech (CST).
Successful completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
COVID-19 vaccination in compliance with facility guidelines.
