Surgical Care Registered Nurse
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Care
Location: Richmond, VA 23235
Shift: Full-time, Day & Night shifts available (Rotating Weekends)
Salary: $65,624-$93,746/year based on experience
As a Registered Nurse in Surgical Care, you will play a vital role in delivering patient-centered nursing care and providing education to patients and their families. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will create and implement care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care and provide patient and family education
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans
- Utilize computerized documentation systems to monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions
- Coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License
- Minimum of 1 year of medical surgical experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
- Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification
