Job Opportunity: Cardiology Medical Assistant

Base Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.

Position Overview: Join our team as a Cardiology Medical Assistant ! We are seeking a dedicated individual with experience in cardiology and exceptional patient care skills.

Job Details:

Position: Medical Assistant - Cardiology
Location: Pikesville, MD 21208
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Unit: 7510-1020-Admin-Medical
Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year in cardiology
Certifications/Licenses: BLS & ACLS preferred; Cerner experience preferred
COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)
Flu Vaccine Requirement: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only)

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians in a busy cardiology practice, including several satellite offices.
Perform tasks such as obtaining vital signs, health history, telephone triage, and 12 Lead EKG.
Float within the hospital as required within scope.

Compensation and Benefits:

Overtime Multiplier: 1.5% for 40 total hours in 1 week
Additional Pay:
- Holiday: 1.25% (Observed Holidays: New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)

Requirements:

Valid Maryland or Compact license required .
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience.
References are required.
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
Return staff must have been away for at least 1 year; cases are reviewed individually.
