Salary: $68,640-$104,000/year based on experience

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. As an RN in the CVOR, you will play a vital role in managing the efficient flow of Open Heart patients, providing education to patients and families, and administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Responsibilities:

Manage the efficient flow of Open Heart patients, including screening and assessments.
Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-operative instructions.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
Monitor patient progress and update medical records using electronic documentation systems.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred.
Current State of Florida Registered RN License or recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements).
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Advanced certifications (e.g., CEN, TNCC) preferred.
Minimum of one year of experience as an Open Heart OR RN.
Full vaccination for COVID-19, in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
On-call requirements: 3 times per week and every other weekend.
Must live within 30 minutes of the facility.
