Job Title: CT Tech - Radiology/Cardiology

Location: Providence, RI 02908

Shift: 5x8-Hour (11:00 - 07:30)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Duration: 13-week renewable contract

Salary: $2,952-$3,444/week

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated CT Tech to join our Radiology/Cardiology department. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT scans and assisting with various radiology procedures. Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic CT scans using specialized equipment and techniques.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and understanding of the process.
Position and immobilize patients as necessary to obtain optimal images.
Monitor patients during the scans and communicate any concerns or adverse reactions to the healthcare team.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of imaging results, reviewing images for clarity and making adjustments as needed.
Maintain and operate CT equipment, following safety protocols and performing routine maintenance.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze imaging results.
Maintain patient records and document procedures accurately in accordance with department policies.

Requirements:

Valid certification as a CT Technologist.
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a radiologic technologist in the state of Rhode Island.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality imaging results.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work additional hours or be on-call as needed.
