Location: Arlington, TX

Shifts Available:

  • Full Time Nights: 7p-7a, Rotating Weekends (3X12’s)
  • Mid Shift: 12-hour shifts starting at 10a, 1p, and 3p

Boasting a wide variety of medical specialties with almost 700 highly skilled physicians, the hospital is recognized as a frontrunner in Dallas/Fort Worth healthcare, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.

Position Summary & Responsibilities: The Emergency Room at this facility offers unrivaled care levels in Arlington, recognized as a Level III Trauma Center - the sole designated trauma center in the city. The highly adept team of board-certified physicians, nurses, medics, and specialists attend to over 80,000 patients annually. The expansive 53-bed ER is well-equipped and is accompanied by a cohesive team which benefits from myriad educational and certification opportunities. There's a strong sense of camaraderie, supported by proactive nurse management, excellent physician rapport, an on-site department educator, and medic backing. Accreditations include Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center.

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensure/Certifications: Must have a valid RN license from Texas or an accepted compact license. American Heart Association's ACLS and BLS are mandatory. Acquiring TNCC and ENPC (or AHA's PALS certification) is expected within 18 months of hiring.
  • Education: A BSN degree is highly preferred, though ADNs are acceptable.
  • Experience: Essential to have 2 years of recent acute ER experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: Rates range from $33/hr (1 year of experience) to $54/hr (20 years of experience). An additional weekend shift differential of $4.30 is provided.
