Location: Hermitage, TN
Schedule: Full-Time, Days (7 AM - 7 PM), Rotating Weekends
Pay Range: $34.24 - $45.75/hr (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (if over 50 miles from the facility)

Position Overview

Join our Emergency Room team at a Level III Trauma Center serving up to 166 patients daily. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to make an impact in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and guiding a skilled team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all unit functions during assigned shifts.
Monitor, assess, and document changes in patients' conditions.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, evaluate, and modify care plans as needed.
Delegate nursing tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient care.
Provide patient, family, and caregiver education throughout the care continuum.
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Unit Details

Trauma Level: III
Beds in Unit: 22
Patient Volume: Up to 166 patients daily

Qualifications

Education:

Associate's Degree in Nursing (required)
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Licensure:

Active RN license in Tennessee or Compact State RN license

Certifications:

Current BLS (required)
ACLS and PALS (within 1 year of employment)
CPI (within 6 months of employment)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2-3 years in Emergency Room nursing (required for day shift)
Prior Charge Nurse experience (required for day shift)
Trauma Experience (preferred)
