Registered Nurse Special Procedures
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse – Special Procedures is responsible for Under general supervision, the Neuro RN assists with all diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Neuro suite as a monitor or circulator, provides individual nursing care, administers medication, starts IVs, operates equipment as needed, prepares patients for examination, documents appropriate information, interacts with patients and physicians, assists with orientation/education of all new Neuro interventional employees, assists with maintenance of staff competency checks and scheduling of in-services, assists with performance improvement, performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Licensed RN by the State of Texas or compact state
- BSN required
- 2 years of previous acute care Neuro IR experience is Required. Does not need to be recent but has to be within the last 3 years. The HM is looking for nurses to help do stroke, aneurysms, and elective cases
- BLS required. Specialty certification encouraged
Shifts: Days - M-F [6:30 am - 3:00 pm]

Salary: $51,800 - $101,000/YR - BOE
