Mid: $38.87/hr (10 years of experience)
Max: $46/hr (20 years of experience)
Nights Shift Differential: $3.75/hr
Weekend Differential: $4.20/hr

Schedule: Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)

Position Summary: As an RN in our Medical Surgical Unit, you'll care for a diverse patient population, including post-surgical, orthopedic, and neurological/stroke cases. Position Responsibilities:

Ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes, and making necessary adjustments.
Perform and document patient assessments and reassessments using appropriate techniques.
Formulate and update care plans based on data collection, critical thinking, and collaboration with healthcare providers.
Implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Education:

BSN Required (Candidates with ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire, completing it within 36 months)
Tuition-Free ADN to BSN program available with CNO approval

Licenses and Certifications:

Current Texas State RN Licensure (Compact license accepted, but TX State RN license required within 30 days of hire)
Current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association
Med/Surg certification preferred

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg experience required.
Acute care experience is a must.

Special Notes:

13 Beds with 8-bed overflow
Emphasis on candidates' personality and cultural fit with the unit.
Stable employment history preferred.
