Title: Night Shift RN Medical Surgical – Fort Worth, TX

- Mid: $38.87/hr (10 years of experience)
- Max: $46/hr (20 years of experience)
- Nights Shift Differential: $3.75/hr
- Weekend Differential: $4.20/hr
Schedule: Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)

Position Summary: As an RN in our Medical Surgical Unit, you'll care for a diverse patient population, including post-surgical, orthopedic, and neurological/stroke cases. Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes, and making necessary adjustments.
- Perform and document patient assessments and reassessments using appropriate techniques.
- Formulate and update care plans based on data collection, critical thinking, and collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Education:
- BSN Required (Candidates with ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire, completing it within 36 months)
- Tuition-Free ADN to BSN program available with CNO approval
Licenses and Certifications:
- Current Texas State RN Licensure (Compact license accepted, but TX State RN license required within 30 days of hire)
- Current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association
- Med/Surg certification preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg experience required.
- Acute care experience is a must.
Special Notes:
- 13 Beds with 8-bed overflow
- Emphasis on candidates' personality and cultural fit with the unit.
- Stable employment history preferred.
