Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)
Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends) — Urgent Need

Compensation

Hourly Pay: $32.00 – $48.00/hour (based on experience)
Shift Differential: +$4.25/hour (Nights)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) | $20,000 (Nights)
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RN (CVICU RN) to provide specialized care for critically ill patients following open-heart surgeries, ventilator management, and vasoactive drip titration. You will join a collaborative team in a high-acuity, fast-paced Level I Trauma Center known for excellence in cardiovascular and critical care.

This environment demands clinical precision, compassion, rapid decision-making, and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage critically ill post-cardiac surgery and cardiovascular patients
Administer medications, titrate vasoactive drips, and operate advanced cardiac and ventilator equipment
Perform rapid assessments and intervene promptly when patient status changes
Educate patients and families regarding post-ICU recovery and treatment expectations
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based protocols
Uphold safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards

Requirements

Minimum 1+ year of recent ICU experience (PCU experience considered)
Active Florida RN license or Multistate Compact RN license
BLS (AHA) within 30 days of start
ACLS (AHA) within 90 days of start
Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
