Home Infusion Registered Nurse for Specialty Care
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Home Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team, providing professional, patient-centered in-home care to our patients with specialized infusion needs such as IVIG and Hemophilia treatments. Role and Responsibilities
As our Home Infusion Registered Nurse for Specialty Care, you'll:
- Deliver personalized, friendly, and professional care to patients in their homes, including over phone calls and written communication.
- Administer specialized infusion treatments, such as IVIG and medications for Hemophilia patients, maintaining IV access for infusions.
- Regularly assess patient's health and response to treatment, reporting any abnormal findings to the supervising clinician.
- Document all patient care activities in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system in line with state and federal regulations.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about managing symptoms, potential side effects, and the overall treatment plan.
- Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to monitor, review, and enhance the effectiveness of the medication regimens.
- Stay up-to-date with the necessary equipment and perform routine maintenance and quality assurance.
- A graduate degree from an accredited nursing school with at least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, or a recent graduate with prior experience as an IV Certified LVN/LPN.
- A valid Registered Nursing license in the state of Texas.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid driving license with access to a vehicle for business travel and proof of liability insurance.
- Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
