Home Infusion Registered Nurse for Specialty Care

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Home Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team, providing professional, patient-centered in-home care to our patients with specialized infusion needs such as IVIG and Hemophilia treatments. Role and Responsibilities

As our Home Infusion Registered Nurse for Specialty Care, you'll:

Deliver personalized, friendly, and professional care to patients in their homes, including over phone calls and written communication.
Administer specialized infusion treatments, such as IVIG and medications for Hemophilia patients, maintaining IV access for infusions.
Regularly assess patient's health and response to treatment, reporting any abnormal findings to the supervising clinician.
Document all patient care activities in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system in line with state and federal regulations.
Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about managing symptoms, potential side effects, and the overall treatment plan.
Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to monitor, review, and enhance the effectiveness of the medication regimens.
Stay up-to-date with the necessary equipment and perform routine maintenance and quality assurance.

Qualifications

A graduate degree from an accredited nursing school with at least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, or a recent graduate with prior experience as an IV Certified LVN/LPN.
A valid Registered Nursing license in the state of Texas.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Valid driving license with access to a vehicle for business travel and proof of liability insurance.
Basic knowledge of computer operating systems and software applications.
Willingness to travel for business purposes.
