Registered Nurse - Emergency Room, Fort Worth, TX

Salary range: $33 (1 year of experience) – Mid: $42.92 (10 years of experience) - Max: $54 (20 years of experience)
Differentials: $3.75 for nights and $4.30 for weekends.

Available Shifts:

Nights 7p-7a (Rotating Weekends)
Mid 10a-10p or 11a-11p

Facility Overview: Our facility, located in the heart of Fort Worth, is a 320-bed MAGNET designated center. We serve as a tertiary referral center for not only Tarrant County but also for numerous counties within a 90-mile radius. We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and an Accredited AMI Program. Additionally, we are recognized as a Cardiovascular Center of Excellence.

Position Summary job's duties or responsibilities.: Our Emergency Room has 30 beds and sees an annual volume of 20,000 patients. We are the only Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in Tarrant County and a Cycle IV accredited Chest Pain Center. Our highly active Adult Unit Practice Council is involved in policy development and process improvement. We also have an innovative Peer Interview Committee for evaluating potential new hires.

Our facility offers a comprehensive range of services including a full-service adult emergency room, outpatient centers, as well as Heart and Transplant Centers. We have been recognized for excellence in patient care and have received numerous awards, including the Joint Commission’s highest honor. We were the first in Tarrant County to achieve The American Nurses Association MAGNET recognition, emphasizing our commitment to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

Texas RN License or multistate compact license.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association).
BSN degree is mandatory.
For those with an ADN but no BSN, a Tuition-Free ADN to BSN program is available, which takes approximately a year (subject to CNO approval).
A minimum of 1 year of recent ER Freestanding/Urgent Care experience is required, with 2 years being preferred.
