Kissimmee / Orlando Area, Florida

  • Compensation: $32.52 – $40.65 per hour depending on experience
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
  • Night Differential: +$4.50/hr
  • Weekend Differential: +$3.00/hr
  • Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case
  • Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts (weekend-focused schedules available)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • On-call participation is required.

Overview

A Level II Trauma Center hospital in the Kissimmee / Orlando area is hiring CT Technologists to support both the main hospital campus and several freestanding emergency departments.

This role offers the opportunity to work across high-acuity emergency imaging environments, including trauma care, emergency diagnostics, and inpatient imaging services.

Technologists may be assigned to the hospital or nearby freestanding emergency departments based on experience and scheduling availability.

  • • Downtown FSED — Sat/Sun/Mon | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • • Hunter’s Creek FSED — Fri/Sat/Sun | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • • Main Hospital — Sat/Sun/Mon | 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
  • • Main Hospital — Fri/Sat/Sun | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • • Millenia FSED — Thurs/Fri/Sat | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • • West Orange FSED — Sat/Sun/Mon | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Schedules may vary slightly depending on department needs.


Responsibilities

CT Technologists in this role will:

• Perform CT scans on multiple areas of the body to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and medical conditions
• Prepare and position patients safely for imaging procedures
• Operate CT imaging equipment and maintain imaging quality standards
• Review images for clarity and accuracy before submission to radiologists
• Follow radiation safety protocols and departmental procedures
• Assist with general radiology duties when assigned
• Provide patient-centered care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations


Minimum Qualifications

ARRT certification (R and CT) required
Florida General Radiography license required
BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program

Experience

• Minimum 1 year CT Technologist experience required

Additional requirement:

• Freestanding ER assignments require acute care CT experience


Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual English / Spanish
• Prior hospital or emergency imaging experience
• Experience working in high-volume emergency departments

Work Environment

This role supports imaging services at a 404-bed tertiary care hospital and affiliated emergency departments serving the greater Kissimmee and Orlando communities.

The hospital is a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital affiliated with UCF College of Medicine, offering advanced services including trauma care, cardiac services, stroke care, orthopedics, and neonatal intensive care.
