About the Role
A leading healthcare facility in Charleston, SC is hiring an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to provide critical care to acutely ill patients. This role offers competitive pay, shift flexibility, and opportunities for career advancement in a high-acuity ICU environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill patients
- Manage ventilator-dependent patients and respond to Code Blue emergencies
- Administer medications and advanced life-saving interventions
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and response to treatment
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on post-hospital care and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
- Active RN license in South Carolina or compact/multi-state RN license
- BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross required)
- ACLS Certification required within 6 months of hire
- Prior acute care RN experience required
