Hourly Pay: $27.72 – $39.60 (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

About the Role

Join our Med Surg Neuro team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with both neurological and medical-surgical conditions. Located within a Level II Trauma Center, this 30-bed unit offers a fast-paced environment and a strong culture of collaboration among more than 29 full-time team members. You’ll work alongside an interdisciplinary team dedicated to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments
Collaborate with providers and healthcare teams to coordinate care
Advocate for patients and ensure a compassionate, supportive hospital experience
Educate patients and families on medications, diagnoses, and discharge instructions
Utilize clinical tools like NIH Stroke Scale and electronic documentation systems
Support infection control, fall prevention, and compliance with hospital protocols
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation

Qualifications

Active Florida RN license or Compact License (must obtain FL within 60 days if applicable)
Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience in an acute care setting
Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
BLS (AHA) required prior to start
NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of hire
