Nurse Manager – Medical ICU

Location: Georgetown, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Days | No Weekends
Compensation: Up to $130,000 annually (based on experience)
Relocation Assistance: Available (case by case)

A state-of-the-art medical facility north of Austin is seeking a strong and experienced ICU nurse leader to oversee a 16-bed medical/mixed ICU. This is a closed-model ICU with dedicated intensivist coverage and a supportive administrative team. Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of a 16-bed medical/mixed ICU, supervising ~25 FTEs
Ensure excellence in nursing care delivery, patient outcomes, and core measure compliance
Lead performance improvement initiatives and maintain clinical quality metrics (e.g., PI Data, Streetwise)
Participate in hospital committees and assist with staff development, hiring, scheduling, and payroll
Collaborate with ICU medical staff and department leaders to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
Round on patients and staff daily, modeling excellence in communication and clinical practice

Qualifications:

Active RN license (TX or compact)
BSN required (from an accredited school of nursing)
ACLS and BLS certifications required
At least 2 years of ICU leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting
