  • Salary Range: $34 (1 year of experience) to $54 (20 years of experience)
  • Night Shift Differential: $6.50/hr
  • Weekend Differential: $4.30/hr

Shifts Available:

  • Full Time Days: 7A-7P
  • Full Time Nights: 7P-7A

Position Overview: Join our dynamic Labor and Delivery team, where we assist with over 4,300 deliveries annually. Our 23-bed unit boasts a collaborative team of clinical professionals, including a 24-hour Anesthesiologist, Hospitalist, and Neonatologist. We are dedicated to providing holistic care to our patients and are supported by a robust team of Patient Care Techs and Nursing Management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and assess the health and well-being of both mother and baby.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Educate and support patients and their families throughout the childbirth process.

Qualifications:

  • Current Texas State RN license or compact license.
  • BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • BSN is highly preferred. ADN candidates may be considered if enrolled in a BSN program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based L&D experience.
  • Experience in a similar-sized L&D unit is essential.

Note: Our facility assists with approximately 4,300 births annually.
