Home Infusion Nurse Opportunity in Charleston, West Virginia 25312

Position: Home Infusion Registered Nurse
Location: Charleston, West Virginia 25312
Pay: $40-$50/hr

Overview: Join our dedicated team as a Home Infusion Nurse, where you'll be responsible for providing top-notch nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes. Ensure the safe and accurate administration of parenteral products while maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer medications, including oral, IM, SQ, and IV products, safely and accurately.
Establish a rapport with patients and caregivers through empathetic and professional communication.
Maintain IV access for infusions and perform phlebotomy when necessary.
Document all patient care activities in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the quality and effectiveness of medications.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable.
Stay updated with equipment maintenance and organizational quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited nursing school with at least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse.
Valid Registered Nursing license.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle for business travel and proof of liability insurance.
Proficiency in computer operating systems and nursing technology tools.
Willingness to travel for business purposes.
