Your Role as Vice President of Surgical Services

As the VP of Surgical Services , you’ll be the driving force behind the strategic growth and operational excellence of surgical services at two leading facilities. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Oversee all aspects of surgical services, including ORs, pre/post-op, endoscopy, sterile processing, scheduling, and business operations.
• Develop and implement growth strategies to expand surgical programs, including cardiovascular and robotic surgery initiatives.
• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient resource allocation, cost control, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Foster strong relationships with medical staff, identify new business opportunities, and execute strategic plans for growth.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, patient outcomes, and profitability.
• Mentor and develop your leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely project execution.

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience: 3+ years of surgical services experience, including leadership roles in large acute care facilities.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare Administration preferred).
• Certifications: Current RN or CST license in Texas; CNOR or CSSM certifications preferred.
• Skills: Strong leadership, strategic planning, financial acumen, and communication skills.
