Salary Range: $127,649 - $191,464 (based on experience)
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

A respected medical center in the Kingwood region is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as Director of Emergency Services. This role oversees a high-volume, 29-bed adult ER with an average of 150 patients per day and reports directly to the Vice President of Emergency Services. The ideal candidate will bring proven success in acute care emergency department leadership, staff development, and clinical quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead operations, growth strategy, staff development, and resource management for the Emergency Department
Implement and sustain standards for high-quality, patient-centered care
Monitor compliance with regulations, safety procedures, and infection control
Drive clinical outcomes and throughput while enhancing the patient experience
Oversee performance improvement (PI) activities and department-wide initiatives
Engage in rounding, feedback, and mentorship to elevate team performance
Support recruitment, training, and retention of top-performing emergency services staff

Qualifications:

3–5 years of recent acute care Emergency Department leadership experience (Director or Manager level)
BSN required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business preferred
Current RN licensure (Texas or compact state)
ACLS, PALS/ENPC, and BLS certifications required
