Location: Sanford, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Salary Range: $33.77 – $49.06 per hour (Based on Years of Experience)
Night Shift Differential: $4.50/hr
Weekend Differential: $1.50/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Days) | $15,000 (Nights)
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CVICU RN to join our cardiovascular intensive care unit. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering expert critical care for patients recovering from complex cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities:

Provide intensive monitoring and treatment for post-op cardiac and vascular surgery patients
Assess patient status continuously and respond to changes with swift clinical interventions
Serve as a compassionate advocate for patients and families
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Administer medications, manage equipment, and document clinical activities accurately

Qualifications:

Current Florida RN license or Compact License (must obtain FL license within 60 days)
Associate Degree or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ICU RN experience required
BLS (AHA) – Required within 30 days
ACLS – Required within 6 months
NIH Stroke Scale – Required within 30 days
PALS – Required within 6 months
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention – Required within 6 months

Unit Info:

12-bed CVICU
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
