Role and Responsibilities:

🗂 Oversee the operations of the Social Services Department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
📋 Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement programs.
🛠 Manage department budget and staffing, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
💼 Responsible for staff engagement, quality, and performance improvement activities, and maintaining positive employee relations.
🤝 Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure collaborative and comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

🎓 Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
🆔 LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) preferred; mandatory for CA applicants.
💼 At least 2 years of experience in an acute care setting with a strong background in trauma, stroke care, and homelessness case management.
🛠 Proven experience in managing social issues related to healthcare, including discharge planning and regulatory compliance.

🏨 Acute care hospital experience is essential.
🛡️ Knowledge of child protection and adult services laws.
